Swordfish charters aboard the fillamagilla involve drifting a mixture of live and dead baits along an area known locally as the Hollywood Hills, in the South Florida area.  Charters target swordfish about 20 miles offshore by drifting with 50# & 80# standup tackle.  Fly fishing is another exciting option for swordfish trips.  The next swordfish caught on fly that qualifies for an IGFA Record will almost certainly be caught in South Florida.
