The fillamagilla is available for daytime or evening charters in the South Florida area, including Bimini.
Daytime fishing in South Florida usually involves drifting along the reef, using 12# & 20# tackle to live bait for sailfish, kingfish, tuna, dolphin, etc. One or two kites are flown on one side of the boat & flat lines are deployed on the other side. These trips usually leave first thing in the morning & return in the late afternoon.
Evening swordfish charters target swordfish about 20 miles offshore by drifting live and dead baits with 50# & 80# standup tackle. The trips usually begin about 90 minutes before sunset & last well into the night.
You can also arrange for a sailfish/swordfish split charter, leaving in the afternoon & fishing for sailfish before heading offshore to target swordfish. This option gives the anglers a good chance to catch two (or more) billfish species in one day! Fly fishing is another exciting option for daytime or evening trips.
Bimini trips are usually multiple day charters & are priced according to the options and times chosen.
The fillamagilla is set up for a maximum of 4 anglers. Parties with more than 4 can be accommodated by splitting the group into two or more boats of a similar size and style. Please contact us via e-mail or telephone to pick a date and discuss your fishing opportunities.

Each trip will include all bait, tackle and fishing licenses. A cooler with ice will also be provided for your food and drinks. The anglers should bring their food & drinks, along with some sunblock, sunglasses & a hat. All fish caught are the property of the anglers & will be cleaned at the dock at no extra charge. USCG licensed and insured. Credit Cards accepted.
